The Hawthorn Center Association, founded in 1976, is a private charitable organization that supports, encourages, and finances projects leading to improved mental health services for children and their families. The Association was established to advance the quality of care for children with emotional disturbances, particularly those at Hawthorn Center, a State of Michigan facility in Northville, Michigan that is now in its 58th year of providing services to children and adolescents.

Hawthorn Center Association is independent of Hawthorn Center and the State of Michigan Department of Community Health.
